I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, just a short walk from Kintetsu Nara station and overlooking a serene lake. The service staff were incredibly warm and helpful, and the rooms, though not overly spacious, had a charming mix of wooden cabin, Japanese, and modern aesthetics that made it feel like a cozy camping experience in Japan.

While the presentation of the food was impressive, the taste didn't quite live up to expectations. The boxed lunch with a side buffet was a unique touch, but the flavors fell short of my forty years' worth of dining experiences in Japan.
